**On January 22, from 9:10 AM to 4:30 PM, the “Taxes and Accounting 2026” conference will take place at ATTA CENTRE.**

The year 2026 brings significant changes in the field of taxation and accounting – a new procedure for dividend distribution, e-invoices submitted to the State Revenue Service (VID), updated transfer pricing requirements, and changes in tax payment procedures. Therefore, following the adoption of the new budget, we invite you to the most practical and essential tax conference for every professional, where Latvia’s leading experts will provide clear explanations and recommendations regarding the latest changes. Meet the experts IN PERSON or join ONLINE to stay informed!

The conference will be moderated by Kristīne Dzelstiņa, founder and editor-in-chief of iŽurnāli Publishing, and will be opened by Baiba Šmite-Roķe, Director General of the State Revenue Service.

The conference programme is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the most important tax developments in 2026 and offer practical insights into how these changes will affect everyday business operations. Participants will learn about updates in tax calculation and payment procedures, including the new system for calculating late payment interest, as well as key developments in corporate income tax, VAT, and transfer pricing.

Special attention will also be given to recent court rulings, updates on annual report preparation, and labour law issues that may influence corporate decisions and risk management. Accountants will benefit from sessions on justification documents and structured e-invoices, while business leaders will gain insights into tax relief opportunities that can be used for employee motivation. The programme is relevant for both finance and tax professionals as well as company executives.

Additionally, during the conference, it will be possible to meet experts from the State Revenue Service and Walless, who will provide consultations on-site. No prior registration is required – consultations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is organised by iFinanses magazine in collaboration with the Latvian Taxpayer Rights Association.

Baltic Security Conference 2026

**On June 8–9, 2026, the leadership conference EBIT will take place at ATTA CENTRE.**

The largest leadership conference in Latvia brings together more than 900 business and policy leaders and professionals to discuss, ask questions, and seek new insights. He has served as IPA President and chaired the juries of prestigious international awards, including Cannes Lions. For ATTA CENTRE and for Latvia, 2025 has been a year of notably growing interest from international companies, event organizers, and professional communities. This autumn, ATTA CENTRE celebrated its 5th anniversary, an important milestone for the largest conference centre in the Baltics. Over these five years, we have hosted dozens of international forums and events, including the region’s leading industry conferences: EBIT, HR Week Latvia, Baltic Capital Markets Conference, Techritory Forum, and Riga Aviation Forum. These events bring together business leaders, investors, technology experts, and professionals from different countries, and we are proud to continue being a venue where ideas emerge and solutions take shape.

Interest in Riga as a MICE destination is also growing for other reasons. In 2025, Riga was ranked among the Top 3 best Christmas markets in Europe, and the national airline airBaltic is expanding its route network by adding new direct flights and increasing flight frequency, making Latvia even more accessible for international guests. These developments make planning travel and events in Riga more convenient and faster, a factor our clients increasingly highlight as key.

New event space – Hall R

**Meet Deniss, our incredible Head Chef, who has been with us since day one, bringing his outstanding culinary skills together with the enthusiasm and passion that fuel them.**

Deniss is not only a great cook – he is a true hard worker, a great leader, and a great friend to all of us.
 
Since childhood, Deniss has been passionate about experimenting with different flavours, quickly realizing that cooking was more than just a passion – it was the career he wanted to pursue. His professional journey took off right after university, working in some of Latvia’s top hotels and restaurants, where he quickly rose to the roles of Head Chef and Cluster Chef.
 
Throughout his career, he had the chance to work alongside Michelin-starred chefs, gaining valuable knowledge and experience along the way. Becoming a member of the Latvain Chefs’ Club association, he has taken part in some of the world’s most prestigious cooking competitions, supporting Latvia’s teams at the Worldchefs Congres 2024 in Singapore, the Bocuse d’Or Europe 2024 in Norway, and the Bocuse d’Or Grand Finale in France.

When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m still surrounded by the world of food - watching cooking shows, reading, and always looking for new inspiration.
