TAPOST Next 2026

On April 23, 2026, ATTA CENTRE will host the largest software quality event in Latvia — the international conference TAPOST Next.

TAPOST Next is a series of full-day practical workshops for software testing professionals and enthusiasts. The conference brings together leading experts from Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and Poland to strengthen IT specialists' skills in AI-assisted testing and strategic test management.

Unlike traditional conferences, TAPOST Next is structured to ensure knowledge is acquired and applied as effectively as possible. The day begins with a joint opening session where all participants discuss global industry trends. Following the introductory presentations, attendees proceed to specialised, intensive full-day hands-on workshops where theory is put into practice.

The conference offers six in-depth workshops led by recognised European authorities:

  • Kari Kakkonen and Marko Rytkönen (Finland) will focus on testing leadership at the organisational level, explaining how to integrate quality processes in large enterprises.
  • Jan Sabak (Poland) will lead a practical workshop on AI-assisted testing, teaching specialists how to generate, verify and evaluate test results using the latest AI models.
  • Joel Oliveira (Portugal) will address communication and reporting, transforming technical testing data into impactful information that supports business decision-making.
  • Szilard Szell (Finland) and Ard Kramer (the Netherlands) will lead an interactive "Quality Change Game" to help participants understand the psychological and procedural aspects of introducing innovation in teams.
  • Michaël Pilaeten (Belgium) will run a masterclass helping attendees build a modern quality engineering structure within their teams.
  • Mikko Vaha and Anssi Lehtelä (Finland) will analyse the popular Shift-Left approach and solutions for situations when processes go wrong.

TAPOST traces its origins to the year 2000, when the first conference "Testing Theory and Practice" was held, later growing into a recognised international professional forum. The event is organised by the Latvian Software Testing Qualifications Board (LSTQB) in cooperation with the Latvian IT Cluster and the Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association.
